New Mexico High School Volleyball - Gallup tips Bernalillo
August 28, 2025: Bernalillo, NM 87004 Fans at Thursday's non-league contest between the Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM) and the host Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM), observed Gallup's volleyball team hold off Bernalillo by a count of 3-2.
The Bengals (3-0) will now prepare for their contest against Valencia (Los Lunas, NM). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Valencia tipped Rio Grande (Albuquerque, NM), 3-0, in a non-league battle.
The Spartans now own a 2-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Miyamura for a non-league battle on Saturday, August 30. Bernalillo will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to San Juan (Blanding, UT). The Patriots record now stands at 0-2.
