The crowd at Saturday's league match between the Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) and the host Fort Hill Sentinels (Cumberland, MD), witnessed Mountain Ridge's soccer team get by Fort Hill by a final score of 3-2.

With the triumph, Mountain Ridge moves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Miners travel to Musselman (Inwood, WV) to meet the Applemen in a non-league match on Thursday, September 11. The Applemen come into the match with a record of 4-1.
