The Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE) softball the host Bellevue West Thunderbirds (Bellevue, NE), 8-6 in Saturday's non-league test.

Next, the Thunderbolts clash with the Elkhorn South Storm (Omaha, NE) in a A District test, on Monday, September 8. Pius X will attempt to advance on its 4-8 season record. The Storm go into the test with a 11-5 record after their 6-3 non-league win over Westview (Omaha, NE).

The Thunderbirds (2-11) will now prepare for their test against Marian (Omaha, NE). The Crusaders come into the A District outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Marian by Millard South (Omaha, NE), 11-1, in a non-league outing.
