The Pius X Thunderbolts (Lincoln, NE) softball routed the visiting Lincoln Northeast Rockets (Lincoln, NE), 12-2 in Saturday's non-league outing.

The Thunderbolts now have a 11-14 record. They take the field next when they host Wayne for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 30. Pius X will clash with a Blue Devils squad coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Guardian Angels Central Catholic (West Point, NE). The Blue Devils record now stands at 19-8.

The Rockets (8-18) will now prepare for their test against Bryan (Omaha, NE). The Bears go into the A District test with a 5-19 record.
