Alaska High School Volleyball - Mt. Edgecumbe can't get by Eagle River
September 6, 2025: Sitka, AK 99835 Eagle River Wolves (Eagle River, AK) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad edge the host Mt. Edgecumbe Braves (Sitka, AK), 1-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Eagle River improves its record to 21-5 on the season. The Wolves host Barrow (Utqiagvik, AK) to face the Whalers in a non-league test on Saturday, September 6. The Whalers go into the test with a record of 12-4. Barrow won 1-0 in their recent non-league test against North Pole (North Pole, AK)
The Braves now sport a 0-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Barrow for a non-league game on Saturday, September 6. Mt. Edgecumbe will face a Whalers squad coming off a 1-0 non-league win over Delta (Delta Junction, AK). The Whalers record now stands at 13-4.
