The Panthers now possess a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brindlee Mountain for a non-league game on Saturday, September 9. Cleveland will meet a Lions team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over North Sand Mountain (Higdon, AL). The Lions record now stands at 3-1.
The Tigers (0-11) will now prepare for their game against Southeastern (Remlap, AL). The Mustangs enter the non-league game with a 2-4 record. In their last game, Southeastern was dropped by Vinemont (Vinemont, AL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
