Virginia High School Volleyball - Hickory nudged by Great Bridge
September 7, 2023: Chesapeake, VA 23322 The Great Bridge Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Hickory Hawks to 2 in the Wildcats league victory on Thursday.
The Wildcats now possess a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maury for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 12. Great Bridge will meet a Commodores team coming off a 3-0 league win over Manor (Portsmouth, VA). The Commodores record now stands at 1-0.
The Hawks (3-2) will now prepare for their game against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Tigers enter the Southeastern game with a 0-3 record. In their last bout, Oscar Smith was tipped by Indian River (Chesapeake, VA), 3-0, in a league bout.
