Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Hickory Ridge Ragin' Bulls (Harrisburg, NC) and the host Mount Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, NC), observed Hickory Ridge's volleyball team top Mount Pleasant by a tally of 3-1.

The Ragin' Bulls (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against A.L. Brown (Kannapolis, NC). The Wonders enter the Greater Metro (GMAC) 6A/7A test with a 6-4 record. In their last test, A.L. Brown achieved victory over Central Cabarrus (Concord, NC), 3-0, in a league test.

The Tigers now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Stanly for a Rocky River 4A/5A test on Tuesday, September 9. Mount Pleasant will encounter a Colts squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Forest Hills (Marshville, NC). The Colts record now stands at 9-2.
