Georgia High School Softball - Northeast topped by East Laurens
September 9, 2025: Macon, GA 31211 East Laurens Falcons (East Dublin, GA) backers left the game pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their softball team gain a win over the host Northeast Raiders (Macon, GA), 15-0 in a league battle.
The Falcons now possess a 12-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dublin for a 1A D-I Region 2 battle on Thursday, September 11. East Laurens will meet a Fighting Irish squad coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to Portal (Portal, GA). The Fighting Irish record now stands at 5-11.
The Raiders (1-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Jefferson County (Louisville, GA). The Warriors enter the 1A D-I Region 2 battle with a 3-9 record. In their last battle, Jefferson County ran past Southwest (Macon, GA), 19-0, in a league battle.
