Georgia High School Softball - Bleckley County sneaks past East Laurens
August 14, 2025: Cochran, GA 31014 In Thursday's league match, the host Bleckley County Royals softball team scored a tight 9-8 victory over the East Laurens Falcons.
Next, the Royals clash with the Southwest Patriots (Macon, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 2 test, on Tuesday, August 19. Bleckley County will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Patriots go into the test with a 0-1 record after their 18-0 league loss to Dublin (Dublin, GA).
The Falcons (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Vidalia (Vidalia, GA). The Indians come into the non-league outing with a 3-4 record. In their last outing, Vidalia got by Charlton County (Folkston, GA), 16-1, in a non-league outing.
