August 19, 2025: Macon, GA 31206 The crowd at Tuesday's league bout between the Bleckley County Royals (Cochran, GA) and the host Southwest Patriots (Macon, GA), saw Bleckley County's softball squad beat Southwest by a score of 18-0.
With the triumph, Bleckley County improves its record to 3-1 on the year. The Royals host Washington County (Sandersville, GA) to face the Golden Hawks in a 1A D-I Region 2 contest on Thursday, August 21. The Golden Hawks enter the contest with a record of 6-3. Washington County won 6-4 in their recent non-league bout against Cross Creek (Augusta, GA)
In their next game, the Patriots battle the Central Chargers (Macon, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 2 bout, on Thursday, August 21. Southwest will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record.
