In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Southern Valley/Alma (Oxford, NE) softball team routed the host Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, NE), by a margin of 19-4.

The now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cozad for a non-league outing on Thursday, September 11. Southern Valley/Alma will encounter a Haymakers team coming off a 8-0 non-league loss to Aurora (Aurora, NE). The Haymakers record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Lexington moves to 0-10 on the season. The Minutemen travel to McCook (McCook, NE) to encounter the Bison in a B District 9 outing on Thursday, September 11.
