In Saturday's non-league match, the visiting Southern Valley/Alma softball squad scored a good 21-0 triumph over the Lexington Minutemen.

With the triumph, Southern Valley/Alma improves its record to 1-2 on the year. The travel to McCook (McCook, NE) to play the Bison in a non-league game on Monday, August 25. The Bison enter the game with a record of 1-1. McCook lost 10-0 in their recent non-league game against Cass (Louisville, NE)

The Minutemen now hold a 0-3 record. They play next when they travel to Adams Central for a non-league match on Tuesday, August 26. Lexington will battle a Patriots team coming off a 14-3 non-league loss to Gering (Gering, NE). The Patriots record now stands at 0-2.
