Indiana High School Volleyball - Alexandria-Monroe tips Monroe Central

September 10, 2025: Alexandria, IN 46001

The Alexandria-Monroe Tigers volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the visiting Monroe Central Golden Bears to 2 in the Tigers non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Tigers now have a 7-3 record. They play next when they travel to Lapel for a non-league outing on Saturday, September 13. Alexandria-Monroe will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Madison-Grant (Fairmount, IN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-4.

With the loss, Monroe Central drops to 3-7 on the campaign. The Golden bears travel to Muncie Central (Muncie, IN) to face the Bearcats in a non-league game on Thursday, September 11. The Bearcats go into the game with a record of 8-5. Muncie Central won 2-1 in their recent league game against Richmond (Richmond, IN)
