The crowd at Monday's non-league contest between the Red Lion Lions (Red Lion, PA) and the visiting Reading Red KNights (Reading, PA), observed Red Lion's football squad defeat Reading by a count of 38-20.

The Lions now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they host Elizabethtown for a non-league contest on Friday, September 15. Red Lion will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 30-0 non-league loss to Lower Dauphin (Hummelstown, PA). The Bears record now stands at 0-3.
