Colorado High School Softball - Palmer Ridge topped by Lutheran

Lutheran Lions (Parker, CO) backers left the game pleased Wednesday as they saw their softball squad thwart the visiting Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO), 17-7 in a league game.

With the triumph, Lutheran upgrades its record to 10-1 on the year. The Lions host Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO) to play the Thunder in a 4A Pikes Peak game on Monday, September 16. The Thunder enter the game with a record of 5-7. Discovery Canyon lost 14-7 in their recent non-league game against Pueblo West (Pueblo West, CO)

The Bears now own a 9-2 record. They take the field next when they host Lamar for a non-league bout on Saturday, September 14. Palmer Ridge will battle a Thunder team coming off a 3-1 league win over La Junta (La Junta, CO). The Thunder record now stands at 10-2.
