The crowd at Monday's league bout between the Palmer Ridge Bears (Monument, CO) and the visiting Lewis-Palmer Rangers (Monument, CO), observed Palmer Ridge's softball team notch a victory over Lewis-Palmer by a final score of 13-1.

The Bears (11-2) will now prepare for their bout against Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO). The Kadets go into the 4A Pikes Peak bout with a 3-11 record. In their last bout, Air Academy was routed by Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO), 14-2, in a league bout.

In their next game, the Rangers battle the Lutheran Lions (Parker, CO) in a 4A Pikes Peak bout, on Wednesday, September 18. Lewis-Palmer will attempt to better on its 2-12 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 11-1 record after their 11-1 league win over Discovery Canyon (Colorado Springs, CO).
