The Palmer Ridge Bears overwhelmed the visiting Discovery Canyon Thunder softball squad by a count of 14-4 in Tuesday's league challenge.

Next, the Bears meet the Lutheran Lions (Parker, CO) in a 4A Pikes Peak challenge, on Wednesday, September 11. Palmer Ridge will attempt to upgrade on its 9-1 season record. The Lions go into the challenge with a 9-1 record after their 11-2 non-league win over Arapahoe (Centennial, CO).

The Thunder (4-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Air Academy (US Air Force Academy, CO). The Kadets go into the 4A Pikes Peak challenge with a 3-9 record. In their last challenge, Air Academy was routed by Frederick (Frederick, CO), 7-1, in a non-league challenge.
