Virginia High School Volleyball - South County tips West Springfield

September 11, 2025: Lorton, VA 22079

Fans at Thursday's league contest between the South County Stallions (Lorton, VA) and the visiting West Springfield Spartans (Springfield, VA), observed South County's volleyball team hold off West Springfield by a count of 3-2.

The Stallions (9-1) will now prepare for their contest against Fairfax (Fairfax, VA). The Lions enter the Patriot contest with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Fairfax tipped Robinson (Fairfax, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.

The Spartans now own a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lake Braddock for a Patriot battle on Monday, September 15. West Springfield will encounter a Bruins squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Woodson (Fairfax, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 4-2.
