The Arcola Purple Riders volleyball squad (Arcola, IL), dropped 2-0 in Thursday's league battle with the host Unity Christian Lions (Decatur, IL)

With the win, Unity Christian improves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Lions host DeLand-Weldon (DeLand, IL) to encounter the Eagles in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 13. The Eagles go into the battle with a record of 5-5. DeLand-Weldon won 2-0 in their recent league battle against Decatur Christian (Forsyth, IL)

The Purple Riders now own a 0-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shelbyville for a non-league contest on Saturday, September 13. Arcola will meet a Rams team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Monticello (Monticello, IL). The Rams record now stands at 3-2.
