Illinois High School Volleyball - McHenry can't get by Central

September 11, 2025: McHenry, IL 60050

The Central Rockets edged the host McHenry Warriors volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Thursday's league game.

Next up, the Rockets play the Kenwood Broncos (Chicago, IL) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, September 13. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Broncos come into the outing with a 3-4 record after their 2-0 league loss to Jones (Chicago, IL).

With the loss, McHenry drops to 6-6 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Hampshire (Hampshire, IL) to play the Whip-Purs in a Fox Valley outing on Tuesday, September 16. The Whip-Purs come into the outing with a record of 10-3. Hampshire won 2-1 in their recent non-league outing against Stevenson (Lincolnshire, IL)
