In Tuesday's league battle, the visiting DeSoto Central Jaguars volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Hernando Tigers.

The Jaguars (17-6) will now prepare for their battle against Oxford (Oxford, MS). The Chargers come into the Class 7 Region 1 battle with a 15-7 record. In their last battle, Oxford lost by Lewisburg (Olive Branch, MS), 3-0, in a league battle.

Next, the Tigers clash with the Lake Cormorant (Lake Cormorant, MS) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, September 14. Hernando will attempt to advance on its 8-10 season record. The come into the battle with a 20-7 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Center Hill (Olive Branch, MS).
