California High School Football - Hoover defeated by Montgomery

September 12, 2025: San Diego, CA 92154

The Montgomery Aztecs were victorious over the visiting Hoover Cardinals football team by a score of 35-19 in Friday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Aztecs face the Rancho Christian Eagles (Temecula, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 18. Montgomery will attempt to move on its 3-1 season record. The Eagles come into the outing with a 1-3 record after their 42-14 non-league loss to Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA).

With the defeat, Hoover drops to 2-1 on the campaign. The Cardinals host San Ysidro (San Diego, CA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league outing on Friday, September 19. The Cougars come into the outing with a record of 2-2. San Ysidro won 27-19 in their recent non-league game against Mountain Empire (Pine Valley, CA)
