California High School Football - Fernley falls to South Tahoe
September 12, 2025: South Lake Tahoe, CA 96150 The South Tahoe Vikings felled the visiting Fernley Vaqueros football team by a score of 27-12 in Friday's non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Vikings face the Elko Indians (Elko, NV) in a challenge, on Friday, September 19. South Tahoe will attempt to improve on its 4-1 season record. The Indians go into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 50-16 non-league win over Dayton (Dayton, NV).
With the defeat, Fernley drops to 1-3 on the campaign. The Vaqueros host Spring Creek (Spring Creek, NV) to face the Spartans in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 19. The Spartans enter the challenge with a record of 4-0. Spring Creek won 43-0 in their recent league challenge against Truckee (Truckee, CA)
