In Saturday's non-league challenge, the host Lapel Bulldogs volleyball squad scored a 2-0 win over the Alexandria-Monroe Tigers.

With the win, Lapel advances its record to 14-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Columbus East (Columbus, IN) to face the Olympians in a non-league test on Saturday, September 13. The Olympians go into the test with a record of 8-9. Columbus East won 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Shelbyville (Shelbyville, IN)

The Tigers now have a 7-5 record. They play next when they travel to Fort Wayne Bishop Luers for a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 13. Alexandria-Monroe will play a Knights team coming off a 3-0 league win over Fort Wayne Wayne (Fort Wayne, IN). The Knights record now stands at 6-10.
