September 13, 2025: Albuquerque, NM 87109 Cottonwood Classical Prep Coyotes (Albuquerque, NM) boosters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Zuni Thunderbirds (Zuni, NM), 3-0 in a non-league test.
With the win, Cottonwood Classical Prep improves its record to 6-4 on the season. The Coyotes host Espanola Valley (Espanola, NM) to encounter the Sundevils in a non-league test on Thursday, September 18. The Sundevils go into the test with a record of 3-5. Espanola Valley lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Cuba (Cuba, NM)
Next, the Thunderbirds meet the Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, September 13. Zuni will attempt to upgrade on its 4-4 season record. The Bengals enter the challenge with a 3-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Grants (Grants, NM).
