The McCool Junction Mustangs volleyball squad (McCool Junction, NE), dropped 2-0 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Harvard Cardinals (Harvard, NE)

With the win, Harvard improves its record to 1-11 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Newman Grove/St. Edward (Newman Grove, NE) to meet the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, September 13. The Panthers enter the challenge with a record of 5-3. Newman Grove/St. Edward won 3-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Nebraska Lutheran (Waco, NE)

Next, the Mustangs meet the Cross County Cougars (Stromsburg, NE) in a Crossroads challenge, on Tuesday, September 16. McCool Junction will attempt to upgrade on its 0-7 season record. The Cougars go into the test with a 3-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Central City (Central City, NE).
