North Carolina High School Football - Madison drops to Mitchell
September 15, 2023: Bakersville, NC 28705 In Friday's league game, the Mitchell Mountaineers (Bakersville, NC) football team knocked off the visiting Madison Patriots (Marshall, NC), by a final score of 29-9.
The Mountaineers (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Owen (Black Mountain, NC). The Warhorses come into the Western Highlands 1A/2A game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Owen was dropped by Draughn (Valdese, NC), 38-0, in a league game.
