In Monday's league test, the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA) softball team routed the visiting Washington County Golden Hawks (Sandersville, GA), by a margin of 13-0.

The Gryphons now sport a 13-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Jefferson County for a 1A D-I Region 2 outing on Tuesday, September 16. Academy for Classical Education will clash with a Warriors team coming off a 19-8 league loss to Washington County (Sandersville, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 5-10.
