September 16, 2025: Shelbyville, KY 40065 Fans at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Shelby County Rockets (Shelbyville, KY) and the visiting Oldham County Colonels (Buckner, KY), saw Shelby County's soccer squad hold off Oldham County by a count of 1-0.
The Rockets (7-3) will now prepare for their battle against Meade County (Brandenburg, KY). The Green Waves enter the non-league match with a 0-4 record.
The Colonels now sport a 6-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host South Oldham for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 18. Oldham County will confront a Dragons squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY). The Dragons record now stands at 3-6.
