The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the Hastings Tigers (Hastings, NE) and the host Gretna Dragons (Gretna, NE), saw Hastings's softball squad nip Gretna by a score of 6-4.

With the triumph, Hastings improves its record to 13-4 on the year. The Tigers host McCook (McCook, NE) to face the Bison in a non-league contest on Saturday, September 20. The Bison enter the contest with a record of 6-12. McCook won 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Wray/Yuma (Wray, CO)

The Dragons now hold a 16-5 record. They play next when they host Standing Bear for a non-league contest on Thursday, September 18. Gretna will face a Grizzlies squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Elkhorn North (Elkhorn, NE). The Grizzlies record now stands at 11-8.
