Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Tunkhannock over Greater Nanticoke Area

September 16, 2025: Tunkhannock, PA 18657

Fans at Tuesday's league contest between the Tunkhannock Tigers (Tunkhannock, PA) and the visiting Greater Nanticoke Area Trojans (Nanticoke, PA), saw Tunkhannock's volleyball squad notch a victory over Greater Nanticoke Area by a score of 3-0.

With the win, Tunkhannock improves its record to 6-1 on the season. The Tigers host Montrose (Montrose, PA) to encounter the Meteors in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 20. The Meteors go into the battle with a record of 4-1. Montrose won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Mid Valley (Throop, PA)

Next, the Trojans battle the Holy Redeemer Royals (Wilkes-Barre, PA) in a Wyoming Valley contest, on Thursday, September 18. Greater Nanticoke Area will attempt to move on its 5-4 season record. The Royals enter the contest with a 8-1 record after their 3-2 league win over Lake-Lehman (Lehman, PA).
