North Carolina High School Volleyball - Carson over Central Cabarrus

September 18, 2023: Concord, NC 28025

Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) supporters left the game in high spirits Monday as they observed their volleyball squad top the host Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC), 3-0 in a league match.

Next up, the Cougars clash with the Northwest Cabarrus Trojans (Concord, NC) in a South Piedmont 3A match, on Wednesday, September 20. Carson will attempt to advance on its 7-7 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 1-10 record after their 3-0 league loss to Lake Norman Charter (Huntersville, NC).

With the loss, Central Cabarrus drops to 5-7 on the campaign. The Vikings host Concord (Concord, NC) to clash with the Spiders in a South Piedmont 3A match on Wednesday, September 20. The Spiders come into the match with a record of 2-9. Concord lost 3-0 in their recent league match against East Rowan (Salisbury, NC)
