The Hough Huskies volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host North Mecklenburg Vikings to 0 in the Huskies league triumph on Thursday.

The Huskies now possess a 12-5 record. They play next when they host Chambers for a Queen City 3A/4A outing on Tuesday, September 24. Hough will play a Cougars team coming off a 3-0 league win over West Mecklenburg (Charlotte, NC). The Cougars record now stands at 6-7.

With the loss, North Mecklenburg drops to 9-8 on the campaign. The Vikings host Community School of Davidson (Davidson, NC) to play the Spartans in a non-league outing on Monday, September 23. The Spartans come into the outing with a record of 12-3. Community School of Davidson won 3-0 in their recent league outing against Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC)
