In Friday's league match, the host Covington Buccs football squad scored a good 34-6 victory over the Riverside Pirates.

The Buccs (1-4) will now prepare for their match against Troy Christian (Troy, OH). The Eagles enter the Three Rivers match with a 0-5 record. In their last match, Troy Christian was beaten by Lehman Catholic (Sidney, OH), 64-6, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Pirates confront the Bethel Bees (Tipp City, OH) in a Three Rivers battle, on Friday, September 26. Riverside will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Bees go into the battle with a 2-3 record after their 41-0 league loss to Miami East (Casstown, OH).
