Indiana High School Football - Covington nudges South Vermillion
September 19, 2025: Covington, IN 47932 The crowd at Friday's league contest between the Covington Trojans (Covington, IN) and the visiting South Vermillion Wildcats (Clinton, IN), witnessed Covington's football squad edge South Vermillion by a tally of 30-25.
The Trojans (4-1) will now prepare for their contest against Parke Heritage (Rockville, IN). The Wolves enter the Wabash River contest with a 3-2 record. In their last contest, Parke Heritage was nudged by Seeger (West Lebanon, IN), 42-2, in a league contest.
Coming up next, the Wildcats confront the Riverton Parke Panthers (Montezuma, IN) in a Wabash River bout, on Friday, September 26. South Vermillion will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 5-0 record after their 49-3 league win over North Vermillion (Cayuga, IN).
