September 19, 2025: Powder Springs, GA 30217 In Friday's non-league game, the Johnson Ferry Christian Academy Saints (Marietta, GA) football squad knocked off the host Praise Academy Lions (Powder Springs, GA), by a margin of 65-48.
The Saints now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pinecrest Academy for a GAPPS AA Region 1 (9 Man) outing on Friday, October 3. Johnson Ferry Christian Academy will clash with a Paladins squad coming off a 44-42 non-league win over Harvester Christian Academy (Douglasville, GA). The Paladins record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Praise Academy drops to 1-4 on the campaign. The Lions host Peoples Baptist Academy (McDonough, GA) to clash with the Knights in a non-league outing on Friday, September 26. The Knights come into the outing with a record of 0-4. Peoples Baptist Academy lost 66-60 in their recent non-league outing against Holy Ground Baptist Academy (Roopville, GA)
