September 19, 2025: Lincoln, NE 68510 In Friday's non-league challenge, the host Pius X Thunderbolts volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Grand Island Islanders.
The Thunderbolts (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lincoln North Star (Lincoln, NE). The Navigators come into the non-league outing with a 9-1 record. In their last outing, Lincoln North Star beat Norfolk (Norfolk, NE), 3-0, in a league outing.
With the loss, Grand Island drops to 5-9 on the campaign. The Islanders travel to North Platte (North Platte, NE) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Friday, September 19. The Bulldogs go into the game with a record of 5-8. North Platte won 3-0 in their recent non-league game against Lexington (Lexington, NE)
