Aurora Huskies (Aurora, NE) supporters left the game thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Centura Centurions (Cairo, NE), 6-2 in a non-league game.

With the triumph, Aurora improves its record to 8-8 on the year. The Huskies travel to Waverly (Waverly, NE) to play the Vikings in a non-league game on Saturday, September 20. The Vikings enter the game with a record of 13-7. Waverly lost 12-9 in their recent non-league game against Blair (Blair, NE)

The Centurions now hold a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to York for a non-league match on Saturday, September 20. Centura will battle a Dukes team coming off a 12-8 non-league loss to Kearney Catholic (Kearney, NE). The Dukes record now stands at 10-9.
