In Saturday's league challenge, the visiting Buffalo Lake-Hector-Stewart Mustangs volleyball team scored a close 2-1 victory over the New Ulm Cathedral Greyhounds.

The Mustangs (14-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Pipestone (Pipestone, MN). The Arrows enter the non-league challenge with a 6-4 record. In their last challenge, Pipestone got by Blue Earth (Blue Earth, MN), 3-0, in a league test.

The Greyhounds now own a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Springfield for a Tomahawk test on Tuesday, September 23.
