Virginia High School Volleyball - Western Branch routed by Hickory
September 21, 2023: Chesapeake, VA 23321 The Hickory Hawks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Western Branch Bruins to 0 in the Hawks league victory on Thursday.
The Hawks now possess a 8-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nansemond River for a Southeastern game on Tuesday, September 26. Hickory will meet a Warriors team coming off a 3-1 league loss to Indian River (Chesapeake, VA). The Warriors record now stands at 7-2.
The Bruins (5-2) will now prepare for their game against Oscar Smith (Chesapeake, VA). The Tigers enter the Southeastern game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Oscar Smith defeated Lakeland (Suffolk, VA), 3-0, in a league battle.
