North Carolina High School Football - R-S Central topped by Brevard

The R-S Central Hilltoppers football team (Rutherfordton, NC), was beaten 50-20 in Friday's league challenge with the visiting Brevard Blue Devils (Brevard, NC)

The Blue Devils (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Chase (Forest City, NC). The Trojans come into the 1A/2A Mountain Foothills challenge with a 3-2 record.

The Hilltoppers now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Polk County for a 1A/2A Mountain Foothills challenge on Friday, September 29. R-S Central will meet a Wolverines team coming off a 34-30 league win over Hendersonville (Hendersonville, NC). The Wolverines record now stands at 3-3.
