Purvis Tornadoes (Purvis, MS) boosters left the game thrilled Thursday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the visiting Stone Tomcats (Wiggins, MS), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Purvis improves its record to 29-5 on the season. The Tornadoes host Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS) to encounter the Bobcats in a non-league test on Tuesday, September 30. The Bobcats go into the test with a record of 13-7. Presbyterian Christian won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Clinton (Clinton, MS)

The Tomcats now own a 16-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pearl River Central for a non-league test on Monday, September 29. Stone will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Hancock (Kiln, MS). The Blue Devils record now stands at 0-18.
