The Lone Tree Lions held off the visiting WACO Warriors volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league test.

The Lions now have a 3-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Columbus for a SEI - North test on Thursday, September 28.

The Warriors (10-5) will now prepare for their test against Wapello (Wapello, IA). The Indians enter the non-league test with a 16-12 record. In their last test, Wapello was nudged by West Burlington (West Burlington, IA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
