The Chamberlain Cubs football squad scored 7 points and limited the visiting Mt. Vernon/Plankinton Titans to 6 in the Cubs league triumph on Friday.

The Cubs now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Parker for a non-league test on Friday, October 3. Chamberlain will meet a Pheasants squad coming off a 30-20 league win over McCook Central/Montrose (Salem, SD). The Pheasants record now stands at 4-2.
