Crimson Cliffs Mustangs (Washington, UT) boosters were content Friday as they observed their football squad nudge the host Snow Canyon Warriors (St. George, UT), 28-21 in a league match.

The Mustangs (6-1) will now prepare for their match against Dixie (St. George, UT). The Flyers come into the 4A Region 9 match with a 2-5 record. In their last match, Dixie was nudged by Desert Hills (St. George, UT), 14-10, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Warriors meet the Hurricane Tigers (Hurricane, UT) in a 4A Region 9 challenge, on Friday, October 3. Snow Canyon will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Tigers go into the challenge with a 4-3 record after their 31-27 league loss to Pine View (St. George, UT).
