The Millard West Wildcats (Omaha, NE) football knocked off the visiting Grand Island Islanders (Grand Island, NE), 17-0 in Friday's league outing.

The Wildcats now sport a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bellevue East for a A District 6 outing on Friday, October 3. Millard West will clash with a Chieftains squad coming off a 42-0 league win over Omaha Northwest (Omaha, NE). The Chieftains record now stands at 1-4.
