Georgia High School Football - McIntosh falls to Northgate

September 26, 2025: Peachtree City, GA 30269

The Northgate Vikings felled the host McIntosh Chiefs football team by a score of 35-14 in Friday's league challenge.

In their next game, the Vikings play the Morrow Mustangs (Morrow, GA) in a AAAAA Region 3 challenge, on Friday, October 3. Northgate will attempt to improve on its 6-0 season record. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a 1-5 record after their 40-6 league loss to Lovejoy (Lovejoy, GA).

With the defeat, McIntosh drops to 2-4 on the campaign. The Chiefs host Langston Hughes (Fairburn, GA) to meet the Panthers in a AAAAA Region 3 test on Friday, October 3. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 6-0. Langston Hughes won 33-0 in their recent league test against Newnan (Newnan, GA)
