The Roxbury Gaels football squad scored 16 points and limited the visiting Morris Knolls Golden Eagles to 13 in the Gaels league triumph on Friday.

The Gaels now sport a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chatham for a non-league test on Saturday, October 4. Roxbury will clash with a Cougars squad coming off a 24-14 non-league win over Livingston (Livingston, NJ). The Cougars record now stands at 3-1.

With the defeat, Morris Knolls drops to 2-3 on the campaign. The Golden eagles host Mount Olive (Flanders, NJ) to clash with the Marauders in a Super - Liberty White game on Saturday, October 4. The Marauders enter the game with a record of 4-0. Mount Olive won 41-17 in their recent league game against Morristown (Morristown, NJ)
