The Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA) volleyball overcame the host Galax Maroon Tide (Galax, VA), 3-0 in Tuesday's league outing.

With the win, Auburn betters its record to 5-4 on the year. The Eagles host Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA) to face the Bears in a Mountain Empire outing on Thursday, September 29. The Bears go into the outing with a record of 10-3. Bland County lost 3-0 in their recent league outing against Giles (Pearisburg, VA)
